I am Aiden Shorter, an ambitious, eager, and driven freshman studying business management at University of Delaware. I am thrilled to embark on this journey of learning and growth towards a prosperous future.Building a foundation in all the skills involved in leadership, coupled with an in-depth understanding of starting and managing a business, will provide me with the blueprint I need to start my own business in the future.One of my favorite pastimes is playing soccer with local friends and biking. This passion is reflected in my two years of employment at one of the 'big 3' bike brands, Trek. During my tenure, I quickly learned all there is to know about bikes and helped instill potentially lifelong passions in my customers. This job taught me how to engage with customers and coworkers in a professional setting. It also cultivated my love for leadership, as I worked closely with my manager and understood his responsibilities. Finally, it helped me refine my ability to work under pressure and still complete my tasks as needed.
