I am the Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Growth for Lancashire County Council.I am a County Councillor for the Conservative party and represent my home division of Euxton, Buckshaw & Astley in Chorley on Lancashire County Council. I am a board member of both Marketing Lancashire and the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and I believe that high-quality housing, good schools, modern infrastructure and reliable transport connections are key drivers to attract talent, skills and businesses to Lancashire. Previously I served as the Lead Member for Economic Development & Cultural Services at Lancashire County Council.Before being elected as a Councillor, I held senior positions in the private sector, overseeing and working in purchasing, logistics and supply chains. This included Head of Operations for eBusiness UK and Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager for SAMBRO.A County Councillor since 2017, I am also a Councillor on Chorley Council as well as an Euxton Parish Councillor.Originally from Chesterfield, I studied politics at the University of Teesside and have lived and worked in the North West since 2000. Lancashire has been my home since 2010. I am married and have two children.Being part of the community has always meant a lot to me. I am the Chairman of Buckshaw Youth Association and the Friends of Euxton Library.
