He co-founded the non-profit AI research company OpenAI in December 2015, which now dives deep into the game playing AI in the complex video games Dota 2 and robots that can perform tasks in a human-level. He previously joined Google Brain where he invented seq2seq learning and contributed to TensorFlow and AlphaGo project. Before that, he developed the AlexNet architecture with fellow P.hD. Student Alex Krizhevsky and his advisor Dr. Geoffrey Hinton. In 2015, Sutskever was recognized as one of MIT Technology Review “Innovators Under 35”.
