Operations Manager at The Startup Place Limited | I oversee the daily and project operations of The Startup Place. My core job functions includes:- managing and coordinating the activities of all team members and vendors- interpret project briefs into project plan and charter- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices- Help the organization’s processes remain legally and ethically compliant- Formulate strategic and operational objectives for all projects- Examine financial data and interprete them to improve profitability- Perform quality controls and monitor project KPIs- act as the human resource office for The Startup Place Ltd.- Find ways to increase quality of customer service

- Develop, plan and review Oil and Gas import operations for NNPC. - Enforcing NNPC policies and procedures and ensuring adherence by Oil marketers - Analyze process workflow and team management for field audit workers.- Prepare periodic reports on the verification of products imported by Oil Marketers to NNPC- Act as liaison officer between Oil Marketers and NNPC- Manage relationships with Oil Marketers and S.S Afemikhe and Co.- Prepare and review operational invoices and ensure submission for payment- Serve as primary point of contact when there are issues with field auditors or Oil Marketers- Communicate issues with management team and devise ways of improving customer experience including resolving problems and complaints- Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.- Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at departmental meetings- Conduct Value for Money review to ascertain effectiveness, efficiency and economy of projects.- Review of the Agreements superintending the operations of the JV   - Holding Interview sessions with focal persons responsible for key functional areas such Procurement, Contracting, Construction, Project Management & Controls etc. in order to map the operational process in those areas·      - Review of JV’s Performance Reports and the related General Ledger Transaction Listing- Validation of the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) of the JV on a sample basis - Review the tendering process for the award of the Purchase Orders/Contracts      - Matching and reconciling Purchase Orders to Goods Delivery Notes and other supporting documents- Review of cash call bank accounts to determine cash call payables, actual payments and debts
