Responsibility for all (cyber) security aspects of the product development of ultrasound consoles in compliance with international standards - risk management, risk analysis, threat modeling, privacy impact analysis, collection and specification of (cyber) security requirements for new products and functions, ongoing monitoring of product-related vulnerabilities, post-market monitoring, coordination between local and global teams, support of developers in the implementation of measures, reviews of measures, coordination of external and internal pentests, preparation/support of cyber security relevant documents for civil and military regulatory filings.

Secure software development, deployment & build systems, supervision of theses, projects as well as in master labs.

Project lead and participation in development projects.Conceptual design of secure development lifecycles for customer projects; project support and review of information security relevant aspects of customer projects; conceptual design and implementation of secure bootloaders, debug access control and intellectual property separation for embedded systems; evaluation, pentration testing and concept analysis of electronic access solutions and their IT and RF components; Conception and implementation of multiple automated classifiers for cryptographic functions in machine code; development of a big data metadata analysis framework; Development and evaluation of technical IP protection methods for sensor technology; Conception and implementation of secure update methods for sensor technology including an evaluation of lightweight cryptography; Design and implementation of a machine learning based anomaly detection system; Development of an automated fuzz testing framework supporting Windows and Linux.

Penetration testing (web & infrastructure penetration tests), evaluation of and attacks against electronic/digital/physical access control systems, forensic analysis (disk forensic/application forensic/memory forensic), various development projects, technology evaluations/reviews/audits.
