The segments further consists of six businesses offering a variety of products.Key roles and responsibilities include:• Preparation & Finalization of Accounts (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual)• Establishing and monitoring of Annual Business Plan (Budget) and quarterly projections.• Co-ordination with factories for routine and day to day matters• Handling of Statutory matters, WPPF, S.E.S.S.I, P.E.S.S.I and E.O.B.I audits• Supervise the team of Accounts Department at Head office & at Factories• Secretary of WPPF

Key roles and responsibilities include: 1 - Accounting Function:• Responsible for overall accounting of the plants’ activities;• Project accounting for the construction of new plants;2 - Inventory Management:• Managing Inventory by maintaining perpetual records;• Ensuring compliance with proper lead times;• Supervising quarterly stock takes;3 - Accounts Payable Function:• Supervising the processing of vendor invoices and other payments;4 - Cash and Bank Management:• Arrangement of funds from head office;• Managing credit periods of debtors and creditors;• Liaison with banks;• Supervising cash imprest accounts;• Reviewing bank reconciliations;5 - SAP Implementation and Dev. of Accounts Deptt:• Introducing SAP (an ERP) at plant sites and development of Accounts deptt: at newly established plants;• Ensuring proper integration with Head office database management system;• Training the staff at plants on various modules of SAP;

Key roles and responsibilities include: 1 - Accounts and General Ledger Function:• Assisting Accounts Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts;• Reporting to Manager Accounts in respect of inventory reconciliations, proof sheets of sales and cash receipts and employee advances;2 - Accounts Payable Function:• Processing of vendor invoices, contract payments, disbursements to contractual staff and government taxes etc;• Preparing payment cheques based on credit periods of various vendors• Ensuring proper deduction of withholding tax on all payments from Head Office in line with local laws and regulations;• Preparing quarterly Income tax returns of the company;3 - Other:• Implementation of SAP (an ERP) in Accounts Payable Department of ECPL;• Involved in Parallel running of accounting system in Oracle along with the newly developed SAP module;
