I direct Just Solutions, a new national climate organization focused on innovations in equity- and justice-centered solutions to the climate crisis. We support communities disproportionately impacted by climate change as they bring their ideas into reality through laws and policies. Our research, policy analysis, educational programming, networking, and capacity building ensure we replicate and scale solutions that build thriving, healthy, and secure families and communities. My relevant professional experience includes leading state and national public policy efforts on poverty, inequality, progressive taxes, and climate change and the intersection of these issues. I have run large-scale multi-state and national campaigns and those with deep roots in marginalized communities. In summary, I have:- Extensive experience, 30 years, in developing and executing large-scale campaigns to engage the public, raise money and build support for progressive public policies, political candidates and social change efforts;- Deep and broad knowledge of public policies (climate, clean energy, poverty, and inequality) and the political process with significant relationships and history working on public policy advocacy;- Significant knowledge and expertise in working with diverse communities and building effective and inclusive campaigns, coalitions and efforts; and- High level experience in public relations including media communications, branding and external relations.
