Serving as the interim CEO for Hope Services, as a client of Venture Leadership Collective. .Hope Services is a 70 year old organization serving 3,800 individuals of all ages (annually) with developmental disabilities and mental health needs in Silicon Valley, CA. With a $60M operating budget and 385 employees, Hope Services is committed to a reality where individuals with developmental disabilities are fully accepted and celebrated in a more inclusive world.

•Personally served as an Interim Executive for the following clients: Armstead Academic Project, Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream, First Place for Youth (SCC ED + CEO), City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley, 49ers Foundation, BUILD, and The Imagine Bus Project.• Serve as an interim executive to move organizations to their strategic goals (executive turnover, fundraising development, growth and expansion, and Theory of Change design and implementation).• Partner with high-performing nonprofits and public sector agencies serious about change.• Develop and create system-wide programs; oversee implementation, and conduct protocol trainings.• Co-create measurement, reporting, and goal-tracking systems and dashboards.• Facilitate retreats, team building activities, and summits.• Realize growth for organizations through talent development and program implementation.• Create customized solutions and strategy for executives.• Solve workload management issues during growth and expansion.

The Presidential Leadership Scholars (PLS) Program is a cohort of cross sectored leaders who are agents of community change looking to elevate their leadership by learning from different people and presidencies on how to solve bigger problems across bipartisan solutions.

This was the "true North" project of our little family of 5! • Led strategy over all financial and programmatic operations of agency (Budget of ~$5.2m).• Directly supervised a team of 6 Directors and a staff of ~50 FTE.• Oversaw grant-writing and reporting for the agency (~55% of total agency budget).• Developed agency-wide 2020 vision and “living” strategic plan.• Aligned staff to vision and facilitated their departmental annual implementation plans.• Developed new staffing initiatives (Director of Talent), staffing plans, and performance appraisal systems.• Created expansion strategy for new jurisdictions and staffed the Strategic Committee of the Board.• Led the agency through creating and implementing a new Theory of Change (TOC) through Clark PropelNext.• Spearheaded innovative strategic plans, pilots, and learning agendas for agency.• Regularly represented FLY’s interests in community at leadership circles.As Law Program Director:• Designed and implemented innovative programs to help youth—Record Sealing Project; Probation Focus Groups; VOP Prevention Program; and Juvenile Hall Supplemental Curriculum.• Participated in organizational leadership—strategic and fiscal planning, policy-making, and hiring.• Oversaw the recruitment and success of over 900 at-risk youth annually. • Represented FLY in juvenile detention reform and law-related education movements locally/nationally.• Regularly represented FLY’s interests at community and Juvenile Justice meetings such as, Juvenile Justice Commission, Juvenile Hall Accountability Board, and Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force.• Led FLY’s first-ever expansion efforts into a new county—San Mateo. • Built and maintained relationships with key players of the Juvenile Justice System—probation officers, attorneys, judges, and policy makers.

Taught two practical courses, specializing in legally-related education for at-risk youth, focusing on concepts in criminal procedure and constitutional law.
