• Support the EOHHS Federal Revenue Department by completing federal reports, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure cash management compliance. • Plan, develop, maintain, monitor reports and plans to ensure expenditures are accurate and in compliance with federal regulations and procedures.• Gather, assemble, and analyze data in order to complete federal Medicaid reports, including the Federal Financial Claiming Reports, the CMS 64 and CMS 21, in accordance with policies, procedures, and instructions. • Coordinate with MassHealth Data WareHouse on Center for Medicaid Services reporting requirements for Federal Programs. • Collaborate with State Agencies to examine & resolve data discrepancies and maximize revenue. Obtain and prepare documentation related to federal claims.• Prepare Cash Transfers to make payments to public providers and allocate revenue to different funds and revenue sources.• Provide supporting documentation for payment vouchers (PV) related to contingency fee invoices and other invoices pertaining to federal claims.• Monitor actual program spending to the quarterly budgeted amount and make recommendations to revise projections and grant award.• Work with Single State Auditors and respond to their information needs.• Gather information needed to respond to inquiries from agency staff, federal staff, and others regarding Medicaid revenue claiming and quarterly grant award estimates.• Prepare written correspondence including reports, manuals, charts, and graphs pertaining to Medicaid revenue claiming and grant award estimates

• Audit the compliance controls and financial data of various departments within different agencies to ensure accuracy and compliance with government guidelines and laws.• Identify any improper accounting or documentation errors through the research of issues and make recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly. • Work under the supervision of the audit supervisor, producing work papers and analyzing data provided to our audit team in a timely fashion.• Review Uniform Financial Reports (UFR) at various non-profit audits, to identify contractual funding sources from various Massachusetts state agencies as a means of testing.• Extensive research in American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) in order to recognize areas susceptible to fraud.• Ensure that audits are completed in compliance with the Treadway Commission (COSO), Yellow Book, GAGAS, and GAAP.• Consult with auditee and advise various ways in which to improve performance at the agency. • Most recent audits : A-133 “Single Audit” of Federal Funds in excess of $30 million at Department of Children & Families; Massachusetts Department of Transportation – ARRA Funding & Contracts; Office of Campaign & Political Finance – Clean Elections Fund; Committee for Public Counsel Services – Indigent Client Funding and Fees.
