I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist and have the compassion to improve the lives of our patients. Working and caring for adult and older people with complex medical issues has been, without a doubt, the most rewarding and interesting role I have ever been a part of. I am well knowledgeable on how to provide patient care with ventilated and tracheostomized patients. Working as a Physiotherapist in a long-term care and post acute rehabilitation hospital for 6 years provides me the chance to experience working with ventilated patients, patients who require palliative care, and with complex needs. I was involved in in-service training to keep up to date with the latest evidence-based practice. I was a speaker in Foundations in Long Term Critical Care and Nurse-Led Therapy discussing the “Maintenance of Musculoskeletal integrity for immobile patients”.
