In the first chapter of my career, I worked in the non-profit Off-Broadway and regional theatre industry as an executive assistant, producer, and literary manager. Through my time in theatre, I came to value creative and bold risk taking, a commitment to excellence, and the ways storytelling can inspire others to greatness.As an assistant to the artistic director, I developed grit and resilience, an impervious attention to detail, a knack at prioritizing and problem solving on a moment's notice, and the ability to maintain grace and composure through it all. Coordinator For Lgbtqia+ Programs And Initiatives
As the primary staff member in the Center for Inclusion and Cross Cultural Engagement focused on LGBTQIA+ students, programming, and policy, I am in a unique position to continue developing and implementing the University of Mississippi's LGBTQIA+ centered initiatives, which affect undergraduate and graduate students in addition to faculty and staff. I partner widely across campus with staff in offices such as Equal Opportunity and Regulatory Compliance, UMatter (student crisis resource center), the William Magee Center for AOD and Wellness Education, Health Services, and Student Housing and with faculty of various colleges and disciplines to help make UM more welcoming to and inclusive of students of marginalized genders and sexualities. Artistic Programs Assistant, Drama
Working in a highly independent and self-directed manner, I supported the administrative and artistic endeavors of the Drama Division, responsibilities including:Spearheading the creation and editing process for all performance programs from start to finish.
