Hello, my name is Aileen Sarmiento Velasco! I am an ambitious and driven individual who recently doubled majored and graduated Cum Laude from Gonzaga University. With a Bachelor’s in Business Administration concentrating in Finance & Economics, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in French, I want to work in the securities industry and pursue my CFA. Growing up as a first-generation American & dual citizen, I am passionate about leveraging my Spanish fluency and cultural awareness to promote intercultural business communication and connections! My interest in the Financial Services sector was fueled by my participation in the D.A Davidson’s Student Investment Program where I got first hand experience creating a portfolio and managing $500k+ worth of securities in two portfolios over the course of a year. I desire to continue to hone the skills that I have gained and continue to work towards becoming a portfolio manager.
