As the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator at Kitty Bungalow, I collaborated closely with the executive director to create and implement comprehensive social media and marketing plans. I played a pivotal role in increasing our visibility and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. I successfully used these platforms for fundraising efforts, helping raise over $500k in donations during my time there. I also guided the strategy and assisted in planning efforts for key fundraisers, such as the yearly art show and yearly anniversary event.In addition, my responsibilities also included the general management of our website, where I streamlined its look and feel, updated fundraising pages, and managed the “School Store,” which was where we sold branded merchandise. I also tracked and ensured compliance with all grant-related social media posts, making sure we never missed a deadline.During my tenure, I demonstrated my ability to elevate the organization's online presence and achieve measurable results in fundraising and community engagement.

While the internship was short and sweet, during my time there, I was responsible for compiling a comprehensive media and influencer list. I ensured that each outlet and influencer aligned with our organization's values through extensive research. I also conducted outreach to influencers for our fundraiser campaign, effectively engaging them to support our cause. Additionally, I helped the team developed a detailed social media strategy aimed at increasing awareness of Radio Jornalera, which would enhance their online presence and engagement.
