Managed IT integration projects, including billing and finance applications, between Verizon Communications systems and XO Communications systems. Spearheaded integration project cutover activities as lead Project Manager for all billing and financial systems integration projects. Coordinated all aspects of application deployments and release management, including systems testing and user acceptance. Developed full-scale project plans, tracked milestones and deliverables, identified risks, and devised contingency plans. Managed application development projects working in blended agile/waterfall methodology utilizing SDLC methodologies; documented system processes and controls for all phases of SDLC. Communicated and conducted meetings with stakeholders and management to define goals, scope and deliverables and to facilitate kick-off meetings, status meetings, and release management meetings. Delivered capacity planning of resources, submitted budget proposals to achieve project goals, and trained personnel on systems. Managed vendor relationships during development and implementation to ensure all projects and track with no issues. Oversaw data transfer and data mapping for multiple large-scale projects including Communications Asset Tracking System migration to Verizon Communications system, Oracle financial feeds, and PeopleSoft Human Resources database. Managed bill print system transition project by analyzing, developing, testing, and deploying system from external vendor to in-house system. Trained personnel on new systems and conducted knowledge transfer on project management to Infosys personnel.
