Responsibilities:• Supporting full spectrum of financial control activities and operations of the Sealy Joint Venture companies in Asia Pacific Region: New Zealand, China, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and India; • Preparing and/or Reviewing monthly financial and management reports to strict deadlines, providing analysis and commentary for management; • Budget, cash flow forecasting and dividend decisions; • Supporting tax compliance, including annual tax returns; • Preparing annual financial statements, and assisting in the internal and external audit processes; • Technical research, including assessing the impact of new IFRS and local accounting standards; • Building and maintaining strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders; • Maintaining and updating internal control processes;• Driving continuous improvement in reporting and compliance processes; and• Ad hoc tasks and projects.

Since I joined BDO Australia, I have been working autonomously and as part of the team to deliver exceptional service to diverse clients (including listed companies and international groups), through providing Financial Report Audits and Reviews, Compliance and Regulatory Audits, as well as Agreed-upon Procedures.
