Profile bio

About Aili Salminen

From a young age, I've loved nature and the outdoors. In my prime development years - let's say 10 to 21 - I dabbled in a few experiences, jobs, and activities that sparked a passion for sustainable development and environmental stewardship. In the years following, I studied geography, environmental studies, public relations, and sustainability management. All that to say - it's in my nature to care about the planet, the people on it, and the people who will inherit it. I hope to inspire companies to do the absolute best they can environmentally and socially, and help them communicate those best practices.Currently, I work as a Senior ESG Analyst in a Basic Materials-focused team - think mining, metals, forestry, paper and packaging. In this role, I've looked at so many sustainability reports that I actually have a favourite design, method of presenting performance and communicating progress on targets.I enjoy writing - whether copy, content, business or academic - researching the nitty gritty details, presenting a well-crafted idea or summary, and learning new things.

Listed skills include Team Leadership, Adaptive Learning, Powerpoint, Microsoft Office, and 14 others.
