About Ailis Garcia

Hey There! I'm Ailis (pronounced “eye-lease”)!I’m all about creativity, strategy, and making things happen. My experience spans industries from beauty to baseball, sororities to health and wellness, and broadcasting to retail. I’ve worked for established brands and started my own, giving me a hands-on understanding of both the big picture and the details. Focused, driven, and always up for a challenge, I thrive on turning big ideas into reality—whether it’s building well-being programs, designing marketing materials and wedding invitations, or speaking in front of thousands of people. I bring energy and passion to everything I do, with a commitment to excellence along the way.Currently, I’m with Propel Beauty, a boutique consulting firm specializing in supply chain and operations strategy for startup and high-growth beauty brands. We help brands build and scale their supply chain operations, ensuring they meet growing demand and achieve sustainable growth.I was honored to be a fellow at the Leonine Forum, a transformative program dedicated to cultivating a new generation of virtuous leaders. Leonine's mission empowers individuals to integrate their faith into every aspect of their lives, guided by the profound Social Teachings of the Catholic Church. This experience helps me live out these teachings in my personal and professional life, empowering me to lead with faith-driven excellence.Fueled by my entrepreneurial spirit, I founded The Strong Movement® from my dorm room at USC, recognizing a pressing need for health and well-being education among college women. What began as a passion for teaching friends how to workout in the gym evolved into a consultancy offering science-based well-being programs, trainings, workshops, and keynotes. I traveled across the country, speaking to over 7,000 sorority women at 38 college campuses and 15+ conferences, helping them build confidence and adopt well-being-boosting practices. I developed StrongU™, a first-of-its-kind resilience program for a major sorority organization with 20,000+ members. Additionally, I launched an activewear line and curated a collection of lifestyle products to support college women on their well-being journey.I also have experience hosting live shows for the Los Angeles Dodgers, interviewing celebrities, fans, and players to create engaging content that enhanced the game-day experience.I enjoy a good book, making memories with family and friends, exploring new places, and finding inspiration in interior design--all while savoring dolce far niente and embracing my Cuban heritage.

  • Trojan Excursions

    Trojan Excursions Apr 2011 - Nov 2011
    Greater Los Angeles Area
The vision for Trojan Excursions came about after having difficulty finding a way to get up to the SF Weekender in 2010, with no real company facilitating the transportation and hotel for the trip. What started as a small idea to really make my senior year memorable, turned into a business here at USC to help students travel to away football games and Spring Break. After sharing my idea with a Greif/Marshall Alum, I was connected with The College Travel Experts, my new team! Together, we are working to make every trip a memorable experience and establish ourselves as the leader in student trips! We also reach out to brands for partnerships and put together a strategic marketing campaign to get students pumped up about our trips! It has been a great journey being a part of this start-up and I am looking forward to the development and growth of our business! So here's our pitch:Trojan Excursions, part of The College Travel Experts network, is a full-service trip provider for college students. As the leader in college trips, Trojan Excursions transforms the college experience and offers students the most exciting trips of the year at unbeatable prices. We facilitate the planning process and offer exclusive packages to away football games, spring break, and much more. We will kick off the 2011 football season with our first trip to Arizona State, followed by the annual Weekender trip to San Francisco for the Cal game. Then we will travel to Notre Dame for our rivalry game and finish off on the road in Colorado with a ski trip. We will be ringing in 2012 and offering Spring Break 2012 trips as well.
