Since May 2023 I have been working as Project Leader & Creative Director at Exhale, a social living room powered by X TU Delft. Located on the TU Delft campus, Exhale is a social living room, creative studio and mindfulness studio under one roof that offers students the opportunity to relax, connect and create. Exhale offers engaging program in co-creation with the students of TU Delft. Created with NPO funding, Exhale was designed to help alleviate stress amongst the student body in the aftermath of the COVID lockdown. At Exhale I am responsible for creating the project plan together with our project team, developing a brand- and project strategy, and managing and directing the construction and interior design of a new 550m2 building on campus to host this project. I am also responsible for assembling and managing a new team of twenty professionals and overseeing our 1.4 million euro budget. I currently manage our team (which includes program makers, researchers, designers, hosts, logistics and security) and oversee all program development, campaigns and research results. This project is an amazing experience and has taught me so much about sensitive yet strong leadership, team motivation, effective participation, co-creation and authentic D&I practices.

Ailisha Shannon is an artist, writer and teacher who offers (online) workshops, courses and artistic coaching to those who wish to (re)discover or deepen their artistic practice. Specialising in visual research, storytelling and mark-making Ailisha's workshops and courses are geared towards supporting and inspiring students to find their artistic voice and confidence, whilst also providing them with the tools needed to build a solid and exciting artistic practice of their own.Each year Ailisha teaches The Winter Intensive, a medium to advanced online art course that runs through autumn and winter all the way into spring the following year. Students leave this course with a new community and a series of new works in a style all their own. Ailisha is also the founder of a scholarship program that offers one full scholarship place for each online course that she teaches to a student with a chronic illness. All those with a chronic illness are welcome to enroll. Studio LONK is an Amsterdam-based design studio specialized in spatial storytelling. We create spaces that make a story come to life, designing and building worlds that provoke thought and engagement.In bold, playful and colorful ways we explore complex topics in contemporary and future society. From the questionable ‘wisdom of the crowd’ to the consumption of happiness, and from the future of the office to the concept of home in 2030 and beyond. We immerse audiences in interactive interiors that imagine or anticipate possible scenarios, materializing a narrative with form, color, text, sound and various media.

In 2013 The Province of South Holland was looking for a new strategy for the 'Hof van Delfland' platform which had been running for 4 years without reaching the desired targets. They invited me on board as an external strategic communications advisor to ensure that the necessary changes were made before the 4-year term came to a close. Hof van Delfland is the public representation of 'De Landschapstafel Hof van Delfland' a collaboration between 12 municipalities situated in the Province of South Holland: Rotterdam, Delft, Den Haag and Schipluiden amongst others. Hof van Delfland is a green portfolio collaboration. Hof van Delfland aimed to shift the image of the area and enhance the 'green experience' of the 2.2 million inhabitants of the area by closing the gap between city, farmland and nature and bringing green recreational areas and businesses under the attention of the larger public. The strategy that I created went on to shape the new Hof van Delfland platform, of which I was the Project Leader and Creative Director for 4 years.

I worked as a Concept developer for Codum during the creation and opening of their three new buildings for creative professionals in the summer of 2010. I was responsible for the overall contact and communication of the company to the outside world, through online and offline communication. In the corse of these months I guided the remodeling of 2 buildings and was responsible for the overall look of the company.

At the Luzac Lyceum I taught drawing/painting, cultural studies and English. Within English I specialized in training last year students with (concentration) disability's and severe dyslexia.
