This involved regular communication with leisure tenants to ensure we were marketing the individual outlets as well as the destination as a whole.A large part of my role was to coordinate the annual events programme including a corporate fundraising Dragonboat Festival which raises close to £50,000 for local charities each year, an outdoor film festival and Birmingham's first chilli festival. The film and chilli festivals were new events on the Brindleyplace event calendar and I was instrumental in the launch and success of these events. I have worked with event sponsors to ensure that their objectives are met in addition to our own.I have worked with a number of external companies to promote their brands to the audience at Brindleyplace.
