The canal-side destination comprises leisure facilities such as restaurants, bars and family attractions in addition to a number of professional businesses.I was responsible for the day to day marketing of the estate through digital channels - website and social media - and non digital channels - signage, project management of a quarterly magazine, an annual destination guide and the popular loyalty card discount scheme. This involved regular communication with leisure tenants to ensure we were marketing the individual outlets as well as the destination as a whole.A large part of my role was to coordinate the annual events programme including a corporate fundraising Dragonboat Festival which raises close to £50,000 for local charities each year, an outdoor film festival and Birmingham's first chilli festival. The film and chilli festivals were new events on the Brindleyplace event calendar and I was instrumental in the launch and success of these events. I have worked with event sponsors to ensure that their objectives are met in addition to our own.I have worked with a number of external companies to promote their brands to the audience at Brindleyplace.
