US-educated Ailsa Miller graduated from the University of St. Andrews with an M.A. (Hons) in International Relatations and Security Studies. She joined Conde Nast aged 21, progressing through the fashion department of Tatler magazine over the following ten years. In this time, Ailsa produced and styled cover shoots, main fashion, sittings and shopping pages. She freelanced extensively for the Annie Leibovitz studio, and wrote a regular column for Fashionista.com. In addition to styling, art direction and production, Ailsa has written for Vogue International, WWD and the Hollywood Reporter. She has twice been a guest speaker at the Fashion Retail Academy and was the recent subject of "In Conversation With" at the Conde Nast College of Fashion, to the M.A. Creative Direction students. Upon leaving Tatler she joined Stylist magazine as Fashion Editor, before leaving to start DISCO, the creative partner for the luxury sector. Originally formed as the first creative agency comprised entirely of magazine editors, Ailsa recognised the wealth of talent leaving the magazine industry due to a decline in revenue and readership. She harnessed her network of London’s best photographers, stylists, art directors, and designers into a flexible team of freelancers creating unparalleled content for brands. Clients include Fendi, Faberge, and 111SKIN amongst others.
