Hello, I’m Ailsa 👋 I launched my creative career in Industrial Design, working with global health and lifestyle brands, which took me across the world—from customer insights in San Francisco to product research in Portland.Driven by my passion for BIG ideas, I seized an opportunity to move to Amsterdam and join Wieden+Kennedy’s creative program. This experience opened doors to numerous freelance Art Direction roles and led to some of my proudest creative achievements, with the Klabu project being a standout highlight.Eventually, I returned to the UK, settling in the vibrant, if rainy, city of Manchester. Now, five years later, I work at Represent Recruitment, where I specialize in placing top talent in creative roles from global brands and to boutique branding design studios. Alongside this, I founded Afterhours, an events company dedicated to supporting creative women, and I’m also on the Advisory Board for I Like Networking, a mentoring initiative for emerging talent.
