Responsible for managing the Land & Property Data Team within Registers of Scotland that provides bulk data, ad hoc reports and official house price statistics.https://www.ros.gov.uk/data-and-statistics

Responsible for international business development activities for Registers of Scotland's International Consultancy Group, including tracking projects, developing project proposals and providing consultancy expertise to international projects. Have provided expertise to projects in Afghanistan, Albania, Cambodia, Croatia, Egypt, Ireland, Lithuania and Slovakia. Other responsibilities included the organisation of international visits and study tours to RoS, and in 2003 I was responsible for the organisation of the United Nations’ Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) Workshop in Edinburgh. Publications and Papers:Contributor to “Comparative Analysis of the Cadastral and Land Administration Systems in the United Kingdom” produced for the Permanent Committee on Cadastre of the European Union in December 2004. “An Overview of the Development and Delivery of Information and Registration Services in Registers of Scotland” – paper delivered during WPLA Workshop (Session 1: Public Registers and eServices) in Vilnius, Lithuania in September 2004. “Registers of Scotland Activities” – paper highlighting services and service delivery methods delivered during the final project seminar for the GECOH project in Thailand in March 2004. “Electronic Applications of Land Registration Data – A Study of the Registers Direct System” – paper delivered during the final project seminar for the KaCIS project in Cambodia in December 2003.

On secondment from RoS to OS International Section. Responsibilities: Identifying, tracking and applying for opportunities relevant to OS International and RoS. Included identifying suitable partners, drawing up expressions of interest and submitting bids for projects. Acted as bid manager for several project bids, gathering relevant data and documentation for the technical and financial proposals, writing parts of these proposals and ensuring that deadlines for submission were met. Also involved in business development trips to the EU in Brussels and to the Working Party on Land Administration workshop in Madrid, and took part in a Slovak Republic study tour to the National Land Survey offices in Finland.

Managerial responsibility for a team of 17, dealing with varied enquiries from the legal profession and the general public. Acted as reference point for complex enquiries within the section, and as Complaints Manager and Customer Liaison Officer for the Glasgow office. Involved in data gathering and assessment process for the UK Government’s “Service First” Award (formerly known as the Charter Mark Award). Implemented and assessed customer satisfaction surveys. Involved in the design of separate RoS CSCs in the city centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
