Responsible for the Company Technical Department:- Refit & Special Project team- Design & Engineering dept.- Project Management dept.- Workshop- WarehouseCoordinating the resources together with the Heads of dept. and Team Leaders, monitoring the performances and reporting the results to the Company Owners.Establishing the Department short and long term strategies together with the Company Owners.Keeping the Company competitiveness looking into new technologies, rules & regulations and opportunities.Collaborating and supporting the other Company Departments.

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and assigned budget.Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.Ensure resource availability and allocation.Develop and keep updated the projects plans to track progress.Measure project performances, maximizing profits and reducing costs.Report results to the management and identify the strategy to achieve the goals.Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.Analize new rules issed by Class Registries, Flags and international bodies as IACS and IMO, discovering new opportunities.

Managing the Key Accounts portfolio from a technical and commercial point of view.Technical overview of the main projects: supporting the Customers in the technicalspecification drawing up, ensuring compliance with the Customers schedule andsurveying the project proper execution.Italian market business development.Keeping monitored and reporting the main dashboards to the local sales company andto the corporate headquarter, achieving the corporate benchmarks in terms of GP,EBIT, projects and customers overview.

Planning and monitoring of the technical operation of ships pertaining to the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance with contractors, companies and internal divisions.Ensure full compliance with classification, flag state and standards of SOLAS, MARPOL, IMO, PHS.Account for financial planning, cost monitoring, budgeting concerning R&M and spare parts management.Responsibility for planning and execution of Flag State and Class Surveys on boardCarrying out technical inspections and visits to the vessels as well as managing the relevant follow up and status reports

Technical management of Fleet ShipsPlan, coordinate and verify the correct execution of ordinary maintenance and extraordinary technical activities carried out during sailing period.Management and renewal of Class and IMO certificates.Plan and coordinate technical jobs, in collaboration with Safety and Environmental Superintendents, in order to guarantee the safety and Environmental standard as required by SOLAS and MARPOL regulations.Perform technical inspections in order to guarantee internal and external requirements.

Costs & Time management and work supervision of special projectsFlag States, Classification societies and Company’s regulations / requirements analysis and implementation (IMO, ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, SMS) Technical support to Ship’s personnel
