I currently oversee a team of instructional technology coaches (ITCs) and provide strategic guidance to foster a collaborative and innovative environment that promotes professional growth and excellence.I collaborate with school administrators and ITCs to identify technology needs and develop effective strategies for integrating technology into the curriculum.I also organize and lead professional development sessions to enhance technological proficiency and effectively leverage digital resources in classrooms.In addition, I handle administrative tasks such as hiring, staff evaluations, and building placements for instructional technology coaches.

During my time at Erie 1 BOCES, I worked with technology services and building administration to assess and provide technical recommendations to support the curricular needs of both Exceptional Education and Career and Technical Education divisions. I was responsible for overseeing the procurement and administration of instructional technology applications, ensuring compliance with Education Law Section 2-d.In addition, I developed and implemented an Instructional Services dashboard to share best practices, curricular resources, and the latest news, promoting transparency and collaboration across divisions. I also established strong partnerships with technology vendors and educational organizations to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in instructional technology.

Fredonia, New York

As the staff development specialist who oversaw the Model Schools and After-School CoSers in the Integrated Education Services department, I delivered professional development sessions on educational technologies, laws, and NYSED updates. I also provided analysis of school district curricula, advised district administrations on testing requirements, collaborated with educators on technology integration, instructional practices, and curriculum planning, and facilitated regional scoring of math and ELA assessments. Additionally, I created a Digital Educational Resource Toolkit to support the region during COVID-19 school closures.

I collaborated with the executive director to plan, develop, and implement school-wide policies and procedures. I also developed and executed a student recruitment plan to boost enrollment, engaging various stakeholders in the process.

I oversaw the daily operations of building hardware, software, and technology infrastructure. I also conducted workshops on educational technology software and coached teachers in effective remote teaching practices.

I developed and facilitated professional development workshops, coaching sessions, and online courses for K-12 faculty and administration. During my time at Queen of Heaven, I held multiple roles including assistant principal, technology coordinator, and computer science teacher. I analyzed student achievement data and tracked progress, establishing a monitoring system for students in grades 3-8. In addition, I edited and contributed to the Queen of Heaven Student Handbook, devised and coordinated student and teacher scheduling, and implemented innovative marketing strategies to boost student enrollment and promote the school. I also coached teachers in curriculum development, modeling the integration of educational technology to enhance existing curricula. Furthermore, I led the “in-house” 1:1 Chromebook initiative, distributing 300 Chromebooks to students in grades 2-8, and facilitated the school’s technology committee, which comprised parents, teachers, and administrators, to secure funding for technological advancements and develop a 3-year Technology Plan.
