For more than 25 years, I’ve worked across the marketing and communications spectrum. I have both agency and corporate experience and have successfully managed the delicate balance of keeping internal staff, external audiences and key stakeholders informed, motivated and engaged. While working as a director at Weber Shandwick, I led teams for Samsung, Beech-Nut, Energizer and Bank Midwest, and I served as one of the chief writers for the 2010 Census consumer materials. For Samsung, I was instrumental in the global brand positioning work, which included driving communications strategy and developing content for an internal communications initiative aimed at engaging employees and building brand equity. I’ve overseen corporate rebranding initiatives, consumer product launches, CSR campaigns and global employee engagement programs, and I’m experienced in developing a wide range of corporate communications materials, internal communications and digital communications (online and social). Prior to joining Weber Shandwick in 2006, I worked as a healthcare communications professional. During my tenure in nonprofit healthcare, I managed various marketing, communication and fundraising initiatives at the hospital, health system and health association levels.
