A writer and editor with over 20 years of experience, specialising in design, interiors and visual arts. My work is frequently published in titles including The Financial Times HTSI magazine, where I'm a contributing editor, The New York Times T Magazine and British Vogue, where I worked on staff for more than a decade. I frequently consult with brands in the fields of design, art and interiors, assisting on everything from storytelling and tone of voice, to visual presentation, across print and digital formats. The goal of both my editorial and branded work is to highlight the power of interiors and design in influencing the way we feel. My approach is both emotive and research-led; with a particular focus on historical precedent. Since 2021, I have been a member of the Events Committee for the Friends of Kettle's Yard, the fundraising arm of the Cambridge house and modern art gallery, where I have curated a series of talks and events featuring speakers including the designers Sir Paul Smith and Jonathan Anderson, and interior decorators Emma Burns (Sibyl Colefax & Fowler) and Tobias Vernon (8 Holland Street).
