CurrentIn addition to advising clients about cybersecurity and the SAFETY act, I also represent clients before DHS and Congress and provide legal and advocacy advice to national organizations on state and local regulations across the country. I am actively involved with the Washington College of Law’s Stephen S. Weinstein Trial Advocacy Program as an Adjunct Professor and Mock Trial Honor Society Coach and serve as the firm coordinator for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia’s Generous Associates Campaign. Professional Highlights• Guided efforts for FireEye’s MVX and DTI Technologies to become the first cyber products to receive a SAFETY Act “Certification” award. • On behalf of Yoga Alliance, led advocacy effort to roll back state-level regulations targeting yoga programs. Won legislative victories in seven states. • Led board-level cybersecurity assessment for a major utility company, evaluating current cyber preparedness, developing a “target state,” identifying potential liabilities and guiding investment strategies.
