Maintain inventory, track order status of foam, vinyl, upholstery, marine, upholstery and other items utilizing software inventory system “FACTS”. Maintain pricing margins, add new item numbers, delete obsolete items from FACTS system. Perform follow up contact with clients of order confirmations. Offer alternate items when possible to avoid order delays. Manage inbound freight on our supplier orders using most reliable freight and/or transportation options. Continue on, improving logistics costs. Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer inventory records. Improve on inventory management procedures. Work with Reliatex's outsourced IT company to update to latest inventory reporting software, system upgrades or changes within the software that would affect Reliatex operations. Create Excel spreadsheets to import large amounts of data to utilize faster, more accurate changes for import into "FACTS" inventory system. Communicate with sales and customer service to make them aware in advance of possible delays and/or discrepancies to improve customer satisfaction
