I am an Industrial Designer, GE intern alumni, and NCSU Industrial Design AlumniDesign has shown me over and over again how it can be a tool for incredible change, I believe it is the duty of all designers to advocate for marginalized groups, the environment, and users of all ages. In my opinion, design is useless without empathy, humanity, and wholistic thinking. When we approach design like this we can empower users and change lives.
