Specific independent clinic skills include: - Adult diagnostics - Paediatric diagnostics - Neonatal screening for high risk babies - ABR diagnostics in theatre - Programming hearing aids , conducting fittings , orientation , follow ups and repairs. (Mould taking and re-tubing)- Thorough case history taking - Adequate counselling throughout each session - Appropriate referrals between multi disciplinary teams and other hospitals/ clinics according to catchment area.
