As a dedicated sophomore at the University of Kentucky, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. As an honors student in the Lewis Honors College, I maintain a 4.0 GPA while actively engaging in a range of extracurricular activities and leadership roles. From a young age, I have loved journalism and public relations. From creating my own newspaper with my friends in middle school to taking every opportunity to be a public relations chair in every club in high school, I have always loved working in the communications and media fields.I am passionate about policy, education, and politics, and I am committed to bridging the gap and telling the stories that need to be told. My goal is to use my skills in journalism and public relations to inform and engage the public on important issues.In addition to my academic and writing pursuits, I am deeply committed to community service and campus involvement. I am passionate about leadership, being involved in student government, holding committee and chair roles in my sorority Phi Mu Fraternity, and bridging the gap between the Lewis Honors College and the College of Communication and Information by serving as a Lewis Liaison.With a strong foundation in journalism and a keen interest in public relations, I am excited to explore opportunities in both fields. I am passionate about crafting impactful messages, building relationships, and contributing to the positive image and success of organizations.
