I control all business accounts and incoming/outgoing cash flow, ensure finances and our relations to suppliers and clients are healthy as well as dealing with various other tasks.

I am currently in the process of establishing myself as a designer/maker, selling textile art and more practical, usable textile art, such as pen holders, pencil cases and handmade notebooks. I will go on to set up my ceramic workshop and create a selection of stylish and practical homewares to be sold in local shops and in my online store.

Help with social media, marketing of events (Inc. poster design/ social media), development of marketing strategies and organisation of fundraising events.

Rewrite, edit and advise on the content the customer would like to be included on their website. I specialise in working on more complicated sites.

Social media set-up and control of their Facebook site, web content improvements/ editing, press releases, poster design for promotion of events and the organisation, involvement with setup of the Centenary Craft & Cutlery Fair (June 2014) and the upcoming fair in June 2015. I am currently working on the graphics used by Portland Works in their printed materials and social media.

I briefly worked with Sheffield City Council, helping with the marketing of the Lifelong Learning, Skills and Communities centres across the city. Along with two other Hallam students, I helped develop a marketing scheme which involved suggesting improvements for their newly created website, an informative presentation to show in their window display and began to help direct and film a series of informative advertisements for the various learning centres. Unfortunately, university commitments cut my experience short, however I feel that I successfully helped them develop the scheme begin.

Whilst studying A-Levels, I was voted as the President for the Sixth Form in which I represented the school at important events, as well as organise fundraising events to benefit charities and the Sixth Form and organise the Sixth Form prom.
