I am a current senior at Western Kentucky University, set to graduate in May 2025 with concurrent degrees in English, Psychology, and Corporate/Organizational Communication. With an overall GPA of 3.8, I bring a strong academic foundation to any challenge. The diverse experiences provided through my coursework have honed my skills in communication, research, project management, and leadership. Specifically, as an English Tutor at the Kelly Autism Program, I have experience assisting with developing tailored study strategies and personalized schedules for time management as well as fostering creative thinking. Meanwhile, being an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the psychology department has allowed me to learn how to conduct in-depth research, analyze data, and present findings effectively at conferences such as Posters at the Capitol in Frankfort, KY. Previously, a psychology internship at The Cognitive Refinery also helped to further refine my ability to listen actively, provide valuable clinical insights, and manage complex tasks. Additionally, my role as a Certified 4-H Leader showcases my adaptability and commitment to community engagement through leading and educating children of all ages on the equine industry. I have also been honored with awards such as the Undergraduate Research Award in Psychology and scholarships like the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship which allowed me to learn cultural awareness while studying abroad in London, Dublin, and Rome. I am eager to apply my skills and passion for learning to excel in new opportunities and contribute meaningfully to all of my future endeavors. My ultimate goal is to attend graduate school to become a professor which will allow me to remain a lifelong learner within my chosen discipline.
