I am a graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Regents’ Degree of Liberal Arts, focusing on Music Education with a Flute emphasis. Since September of 2007, I have been a member of the Pittsburgh City Flutes and Pittsburgh Flute Academy. Within that time, this group has performed at the Benedum Center for the performing arts, Carnegie Music Hall, Heinz Hall with the PSO, Grand Lobby of Heinz Hall opening pre-concert for James Galway, Phipps Conservatory, Pittsburgh Convention Center for the National Flute Association Conference, First Trinity Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh, PA, and the Newlonsburg Music Academy located at the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church in Murrysville, PA.Aside from this group, I have had the opportunity to perform in the Orchestral Pit for Wheeling Jesuit University’s theater production of “Carnival,” West Liberty University’s Concert Band when they were in need of a piccoloist, and the Mid-Atlantic Festival Flute Choir located at Reston, Virginia for the Flute Society of Washington. On May 10, 2008, I have performed my own Flute Recital at the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh, PA and on April 17, 2010, I have had the honor to serve as a judge for the 2010 Flute Adjudication Festival that was in conjunction with the Third Young Artist Competition sponsored by the Pittsburgh Flute Academy. I have also been a member of the National Flute Association since 2007. In April 2014, I had that wonderful opportunity to play in the Orchestral Pit for Catholic Central High School's theater production of "Tarzan" as well as becoming a member of the Tri-State Community Band directed by Rick Hicks.Throughout everything, I have been very fortunate with my life and through all the struggles God has given me, I have never given up on my dreams and I keep pursuing anything with music!
