• Conducted drug discovery research on an antibiotic resistance protein using a combined techniques of DSF, NMR, MIC and X-ray crystallography.
• The project also involved recombinant expression of the target protein, followed by a series of purification (IMAC, IEX and SEC), crystallization and protein structure elucidation using X-ray crystallography.
• Also mentored and supervised three current PhD students.

• Worked at the quality control (QC) department of Alpha Laboratories, a contract manufacturer of dietary supplements and dairy products.
• Liaised with other departments to coordinate quality tests and supervised the QC analysts involved in wet/physical chemistry, HPLC, GC and ICP-OES testing.

• Project: Synthesis and self-assembly of a peptide-amphiphile as a drug delivery vehicle.
• Conducted a variety of synthetic and analytical experiments to complete and publish the title project.
