Lead the planning and implementation of initiatives that target the retail customer journey, including a special focus on providing marketing leadership for Meridian's Wealth line of business. Accountable for high impact, quantifiable implementation of integrated marketing plans and intitiatvies directed at optimizing each step of the retail and Wealth customer journey from acquisition to share of wallet, through to retention.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing, led the analysis, recommendation and implementation of proactive targeting programs to improve acquisition, retention and share of wallet. Carried out segmentation and analytics work to support the organization’s aggressive branch expansion plans, sales campaigns and the diversification/delivery of product/service offerings through direct marketing communications programs. Designed and conducted primary research to develop and test innovative and differentiated product/channel/communication offers, leveraging the organization’s online insight community. Supported the organization’s evolving Wealth strategy through segmentation and primary research related to the customer value proposition. Led the development of analytical capability throughout the Marketing department through ongoing reporting and analysis to track product growth, campaign performance and pilot project success related to new, differentiated product/service offerings. Led key market and customer research initiatives, including Customer Experience, Brand Health and Advertising Effectiveness tracking.

Reporting to the VP, Finance, researched and synthesized information collected through internal and external channels to identify emerging trends, opportunities and implications for the organization. Conducted a comprehensive annual environmental assessment to serve as the basis for the annual strategic and financial planning cycles. Analyzed competitive intelligence, industry and regulatory changes, emerging issues and macro-level trends that pose opportunities or threats to the organization’s multi-year growth plans. Provided in-depth analysis for key cross-functional strategic initiatives including financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to support decision making. Assisted in the evaluation of key business opportunities as part of the strategic planning cycle and led the development of business cases for related initiatives.
