Facilities Manager
CurrentI currently managed a team of 11 staff delivering FM soft Services to include: Reception, Security, Cleaning & Catering. Due to the client business at this site numbers often varied and I have adapted services and operating hours to suit the business needs, ensuring we remained within set budgets. 2 years ago I TUPE transferred subcontractors in-house for Reception, Security, Cleaning and Catering. I am responsible for managing all external contractors for the FM hard services, which include M&E, water treatment, access control, CCTV and fire systems. I have worked on small project builds to include inputting a catering unit and building smaller offices. Current Responsibilities Include: • Managing and recording HR issues across a team of 11 employees across FM Soft Services. • Manage and co-ordinate alongside subcontractor FM Hard Services to include all PPM and reactive works. • Responsible for the H&S of the staff and building to include ensuring training is kept up to date, compliance with current legislation, accident/incident investigation and prevention. • Budget holder to ensure job requests are within budget and implement savings where possible.• Drive sales in catering unit, cash handling, banking, raise internal recharges, record and run monthly P&L reports • Creating and implementing company procedures and policy statements to cover FM, safety, risk, compliance and environment. • Monthly reporting to Regional FM and stakeholders. • Weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual meeting attendance to include minute taking, action plan creation and KPI’s. • Creating and training out standard operating procedures including Fire evacuations. • Attain client expectations and requirements by arranging regular meetings.• Create relationships with dedicated suppliers for all Operational products.
Facilities Assistant
To provide support for the delivery of all site facilities, including liasing with customers, contractors and internal service providers to ensure that the service delivered meets the client’s requirements. Undertake site walk rounds to ensure that the site meets Vertex standards and the use of systems such as Dynamics and Security systems will be required.The role forms part of the Facilities Management structure and reports into the Facilities Manager. The role required direct contact with Customers, Contractors, Internal Suppliers and Third Party Suppliers as well as other members of the Facilities Team.
