Senior Leader in Investor Relations with past leadership roles in Strategy, Corporate Development, Enterprise Risk Management, and TaxationAs head of Investor Relations for SMG, I enjoy fostering relationships with our shareholders and analysts, as well as the general financial community and other stakeholders, by providing reliable communications and transparency regarding company affairs and our financial performance.Prior to my role in IR, and following a nearly 30-year career in the field of Taxation, I led SMG's "Special Operations Forces (SOF)" team where I was responsible for developing strategy and leading mergers & acquisitions and corporate venture capital. The SOF team provided strategic direction and support to the organization through partnering with our operators to develop and drive their strategic plans, optimizing internal restructuring and deal structures, identifying enterprise risks & opportunities, and ensuring value creation via oversight to our cross-functional diligence and integration teams.Before joining SMG, I spent six years with EY and also held tax leadership positions with AT&T Wireless Services and Hillenbrand Industries. In addition to having led SMG Tax for 9 years, I also led SMG's Enterprise Risk Management program and have served as an officer and board member of certain SMG foreign & domestic affiliates. I also currently serve as Director and Treasurer of the Ohio Manufacturers' Association and serve on the Investment Committee of 1868 Ventures LLC, our corporate venture capital arm.I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BSBA, Accounting, and received a Pace Setter Award in conjunction with earning my MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2008. I was licensed as a CPA in Ohio in 1992. My husband Ron and I currently reside downtown inGerman Village.
