No one should have to choose between their own well-being or their pet's. Sadly, as millions of American’s face economic hardship and food insecurity, it’s a choice many families are finding themselves having to make. That’s why at PetSmart Charities, we believe it’s more important than ever to support the whole family—which, for over half of the population, includes pets. As a seasoned leader in both non-profit and private-sector organizations, I most recently served as the executive director of the Found Animals Foundation, Inc., a non-profit supporting pet owners and animal welfare organizations with a mission dedicated to saving pets and enriching lives. Today, I’m proud to serve as president of not only the leading funder of animal welfare but of an organization committed to supporting pets and those who love them. From partnerships with Feeding America that help battle food insecurity across the country to collaborating with organizations like Meals on Wheels that provide access to veterinary care and wellness for isolated seniors, we’re making a powerful impact on the people, pets and communities we serve.
