Although born in Ontario, Canada, Aimee grew up in the United States as her Canadian father had joined the U.S. Marines before she was born. Music has always played a large role in Aimee's life so after moving to Nashville, TN in 1988, Aimee planted her roots and began to explore her passions. Aimee took a position in production with RCA Records then later with Arista Records in the A&R dept. Aimee was fortunate for many opportunities learned from those well versed in the industry. Next Aimee put a band together and hit the road again. Aimee also sang back up and toured with various country music acts. It was at this time in Aimee's career that she realized the need for unique clothing in Nashville and while Aimee new very little about retail, she did know people, style and trends. So without hesitation or formalizing a business case, Aimee decided to open a clothing boutique, one that artists and savvy shoppers alike could find one-of-a-kind, quality pieces. In 2003, Flavour Clothing came into existence, located in the heart of Music Row. Aimee quickly became known for unique awards show outfits as well the go to place in town for both the industry and more! Aimee's unique and personal style became a large part of her success. Aimee worked with new up and coming artists such as Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood from the beginning of their careers and watched them soar into superstars, as well as enduring legends such as Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers and George Jones to name a few. Aimee assisted both artists’ personal stylists and was a stylist for many of Nashville’s elite. The economy in Nashville was quickly rising and new condominiums were being built across the street and at that time Flavours customer parking lot disappeared so after almost 10 amazing years, Aimee decided to close the doors of Flavour.Aimee then moved to Vancouver, BC. Never living in Canada before but eager and determined for a fresh new start. It was there Aimee enrolled and attended Vancouver Film School and various other acting and screenwriting courses. Afterwards Aimee signed with Boss Management Agency and appeared in many tv series roles on Lifetime and the CW Network. Since then Aimee began writing a memoir of her life’s journey tilted “educating aimee” and completed it in less than three months. Because Aimee enjoyed the process so much she began writing both fiction and nonfiction books as well a musical and a few screenplays and has become her greatest passion.
