Aimee is a designer and Art Director based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her two passions in life are what motivate her to see and seek beauty in everything: great design and people. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Advertising at The University of Alabama, she moved to Nashville to start her career freelancing for a local magazine. Within a year and a half she was promoted to Art Director where she conceptualized and directed monthly editorial shoots, and led a team producing more than 25 publications a year. In 2017, after a successful two and a half year run, Aimee said goodbye to her dream job at the magazine to invest in her people passion by moving to East Asia to teach English. While there, she gained countless memories, a respectable tolerance for spicy food, a rational fear of spiders, and mediocre mastery of the local language. At her core, Aimee is an extrovert and an optimist, a seven on the Enneagram, a thrill-seeker, a devout believer in white space and the Oxford comma, a wanna-be photographer, and collector of magazines and artist biographies. Her personal philosophy, simply put, is to live outside of the box: Never conforming to the world’s expectations of what life should be, but seeking more than what’s expected in an effort to authentically live every moment to its fullest.
