Serve as supervisor of the Data and Strategic Initiatives team within the Division of Health and Wellness, overseeing the execution of the Division's primary state-level data collection and reporting efforts. Ensuring each data project follows the appropriate schedule, cost, scope, and quality from start to finish. Data collected annually and/or biennially among the 235 Public and Public Charter Schools in the District of Columbia. Ensure accurate and strategic outcome measurement and consult with Division teams to ensure relevant, reliable, and accurate data are used utilized to measure targeted strategic outcomes. Lead annual contracting and procurement process to select vendor conducting on-site student-level survey administration at all DC middle and high schools for the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). Serve in Project Director role for the Agency's Federal CDC grant. Partner with Agency data management office to ensure successful establishment of data sharing agreements with priority local and federal stakeholders.

Managed three data collection and analysis projects for DC public and public charter schools with the goal of improving school capacity, student knowledge, and student outcomes related to health and wellness. - Managed multiple contracts with outside vendors to coordinate data collection projects- Coordinated timelines, establish systems requirements, and provide school support related to health data collection- Managed survey administration for bi-annual Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). Liaise with CDC representatives to ensure data accuracy and achieve representative data through census methodology- Administered annual School Health Profile data collection across 235 DC public and public charter schools to understand and track school environment related to health, PE, support services, nutrition, etc.- Manage annual Health and Physical Education Assessment, which is administered to all DC students in grades 5, 8, and high school- Review and edit all Health and Wellness Division communications (emails, newsletters, reports, guidance documents) before public release- Liaise with community partners and social services to provide timely actionable data around student health and wellness
