I’ve got 10 years’ consumer brand experience, working with leading agencies in London and the south west in the travel & leisure, food & drink and event sectors. As a former agency account director and Head of Travel, I’ve got plenty of know-how working with both challenger brands and established businesses. I worked for Swaziland’s international world music and arts festival, MTN Bushfire which attracts 25,000 people annually. Working with the festival director, coordinator and marketing manager my role was challenging, diverse and required a varied skillset. I was solely responsible for the communications strategy, planning and implementation. My role also included managing internal teams and external agencies, writing copy for editorial release and owned media platforms to drive coverage. Instigating creative solutions to communication barriers at an international level was also key.

I worked across accounts within the Retail and Leisure team of HK Strategies to support the team and drive coverage, through building and expanding key industry contacts. I was an Account Executive across three business units of our largest client, LG Electronics in addition to Comet, EK Success, Wilton and Cineworld. Across these clients I have launched products, organised events, established a team to work at London Fashion Week and was involved in the implementation of the Giles Deacon partnership. I have also contributed to a number of new business pitches.
