Agora is a magazine for social spatial issues, since 2000 independently run by Stichting Tijdschrift Agora. The editorial staff consists of about 25 volunteers: students, young professionals, doctoral students. The magazine comes out five times a year. As a secretary within the Agora board my function consists of managing the mail and e-mail, managing the subscriber database, composing the mailing list, organizing meetings, and a variety of other (administrative) tasks.

UUT is an organization set up and supported by the municipality of Utrecht and NJR, and managed by a group of young writers, editors and photographers. We all share our love for the city of Utrecht on www.uut.nl. We publish online articles on a weekly or monthly basis, which are mainly stories about new (creative) initiatives around town and people who contribute to making Utrecht even more beautiful. Both the website and organization function as a creative platform for the young population of Utrecht.

V.U.G.S. is the study association of Human Geography and Planning at the University of Utrecht. The association has approximately 700 members and has many connections with the faculty of Geosciences, the University and companies/institutions/people in the field of human geography and planning. As a board member I have dedicated one year to managing the association full time and representing the students of Human Geography and Planning. Main tasks involve organizing activities for the members including excursions, lectures, visits to companies, symposiums as well as more informal active and leisure activities for the students. I fulfilled the position of the Secretary of Education within V.U.G.S. Throughout my year I have organized study-related activities, and I have been involved in important educational cases concerning the study of Human Geography and Planning, such as the evaluation of courses and the course calender of 2015-2016.

During my year as a board member of V.U.G.S. I got the chance to organize the biggest activity the study association provides for its members, the foreign excursion. Together with three other committee members we organized a foreign excursion for 50 Human Geography and Planning students to Georgia and Armenia in april 2015. The main tasks were: conduct and maintain international relations in Georgia and Armenia (embassies, universities, companies, NGO's), organizing relevant seminars and lectures, planning the travelroute, the marketingproces and guiding the excursion.
