As a Senior Product Marketing Manager I develop the marketing strategy for Wiley’s growth and new titles in the Health Sciences journal portfolio. I ensure messaging, product positioning, and campaign initiatives all support key objectives and align with our company values, while managing an extensive list of external clients.Recent Projects: Google Paid Search Program – Team Co-leadThis pilot campaign quickly scaled up to become a full-fledge marketing strategy across all journal disciplines. In only six months, we will have more than quadrupled the number of titles in the campaign, a significant increase from the original plan. To-date, the campaign is performing above industry benchmarks and is attracting researchers at the top of the marketing funnel. In the next project phase, I will be taking an in-depth look at the data and working with teammates to optimize the campaign. My main role in this project is to review and edit copy, select products for inclusion, liaise with colleagues on campaign performance and status, as well as offer recommendations on customer retention, optimization, and best practices. Our CTR and Conversion rate continue to improve while our cost per conversion continues to decrease, now half of our initial target.User Personas - CopywriterAs part of a larger user segmentation project, I was responsible for writing marketing copy targeting our market’s nine user personas. Having this copy readily available for all team marketers helps align campaign messaging and ensures Wiley’s tone of voice is consistent across all disciplines and channels. Copy was developed based on data from our personas research and speaks to pain points the researcher community faces – for every problem encountered by our personas, the new copy presents a Wiley solution.
