Sourcing Project Manager
Current* Provides strategic category management of indirect spend, including consulting, facilities, business development, human resources, and travel. * Customer focused approach to ensure stakeholders are selecting suppliers that are the best value for their purpose and the company. * Oversees requests for proposals and competitive bids to drive cost savings, diversity, and value. * Leads contract development and negotiation across multiple areas, achieving favorable terms and mitigating contractual risks.* Conducted quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, tracking metrics, performance, and cost savings/avoidance, driving additional opportunities for growth and savings.* Collaborates with legal, insurance, IT Security, and safety departments to ensure compliance and risk management. * Contract development and negotiation including but not limited to the following areas: Travel, facilities, contracted services, consulting, SAAS, communications, and contingent labor. * Assists 13 departments with supplier communications, contract compliance, and invoicing and billing issues.* Provides guidance and training to new team members particularly during large acquisitions and mergers.
