In addition to providing expertise to the Board in relation to public affairs, communications, and strategy, I am the Chair of the Board sub-Committee on Strategic Development.

Experience includes:- Stakeholder communications, policy development and production, and member relations in multiple subject matter areas including talent, higher education, digitalisation, advanced manufacturing and research and innovation- Representation of the organisation at stakeholder forums, formal events, and collaborative business functions at national and international level- Regular execution of multi-level communications with my team, senior team members, members of the Board, and the wider membership to update stakeholders in relation to ongoing activity- Communications consultation in respect of media engagement, digital content creation, and internal member communications- Managing events ranging from intimate stakeholder roundtables to large scale conferences, including designing and facilitating high level discussions relating to top-of-mind industry issues

Experience includes:- Production of all advocacy and policy outputs including public consultation responses, communications to public representatives and representation of the organisation externally nationally and internationally- Development and implementation of the policy and communications workplan for the organisation and continuous assessment and revision as necessary for output optimisation- Delivery of national awareness raising campaigns including project planning, logistical roll out, budget management, event management, multi-level stakeholder engagement and management of the awareness raising team- Design and delivery of high-level communications strategy for the organisation including a digital and social media strategy and a marketing and outreach strategy

Experience includes:- Management of the legislative agenda for each parliamentary term, and negotiating the specific business undertaken in the Dáil on a week-to-week basis both in government and opposition- Management of relationships across the entire political spectrum, including public representative, government ministers, and civil servants, including leading Dáil reform initiatives-Ongoing public affairs monitoring, including current affairs, policy development, and media announcements at a local, national, European and international level and adapting those developments into Dáil debates and schedules where appropriate.- Oversight of the individual parliamentary development of TDs, with particular emphasis on training and developing first time TDs following GE 2016 and GE 2020

Experience includes:- Research, drafting, and promotion of policy outputs in relation to international affairs, Brexit and cross border affairs- Design and execution of communications strategies for multiple public representatives- Management and co-ordination of a variety of events including political conferences, diplomatic visits and social engagements, information evenings and public briefings- Maintenance of stakeholder relationships in respect of local, national, and international matters- Media management for GE and SE 2016, including drafting and dissemination of press releases, responding to press queries, and strategic management of press relationships
