- Worked on wide range of projects within Full Development Cycle as a team member and solo, using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, UNIX, C, ProC. Performed design, development, QA testing, integration testing, and implementation procedures. Provided 7X24 production support on a rotating basis.- Performed application research, impact analysis and resource estimates for future enhancements.- Assisted the Business Analysts, Project Managers and LOB in the requirement stage, providing data analysis outlining existing system functionality to ensure the requirements fit the existing functionality.- Analyzed the requirements and translated them into design documents, prototypes and other design artefacts so that they could be verified with users to ensure it met their business needs.- Supported the customized modules once they had been deployed in the production environment, resolving issues quickly to prevent delays in service. - Provided application research, resolution and follow-up on reported production problems (tickets) for several RIS sub-systems quickly and accurately, to ensure the business continued to run smoothly.- Made complex recalculations for system errors lasting several months – going back in time and replacing and running erroneous procedures with fixed ones in order to update the production data using proper calculation rules. Created easy-to-read reports for LOB showing old and new values. - Acted as the go-to person for several sub-systems functionality and for company development standards.- Provided Coaching and guidance for new team members allowing them to quickly integrate into the team, and contribute to team productivity.- Provided continuous upgrades for the company’s training system. Designed and implemented training database updates and additions following new functionality releases. This ensured the training system was consistent with the production system, allowing the training to be more effective.
