ManTech International Inc. – Access Control Specialist at the Missile Defense Agency posted inside Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Vet employees and visitors who seek to obtain access to the Missile Defense Agency. Determine threat potential and control movement of the individual seeking access.  Obtained Certification as an Access Control Specialist for the Missile Defense Agency. CI focused security interviews for civilian contractors seeking access to the Missile Defense Agency. CI analysts to support ongoing CI investigations within Schriever Air Force Base Missile Defense. Triage packets, review files, obtain records checks, and conduct the CI/FP screening interview. Provide written CI focused security reports, supporting documents, or CI/FP assessment of each interviewed individual for common review as applicable. Utilized SIMS, BATS, Query Tree, Intel Link, Etc. to facilitate the Mission & ensure the safety of the Base. Question, Monitor and Verify all individuals wishing to gain entrance into Restricted Areas have permission to do so. Conduct Inspection of all Passports, ID’s, & documents regarding subject’s identity. Conduct computer searches through Query Tree and other Programs to ensure individuals entering Restricted Areas have proper clearance. Conduct physical patrols within the Missile Defense Agency and coordinate efforts with Security Forces or Military Police should the need arise.

Qatar - Central Command Forward - Al Udeid Air Base

Assigned to directly support Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). Performed initial vetting for United States Central Command Forward. Screened Foreign Nationals seeking security-related access to Coalition Forces installations in the Centcom Theater of Operations.Extensive experience in working with and through interpreters, interviewing and solicitation techniques, CI principles and methods, development of screening/interview/debriefing plans, and evaluation of information requiring further investigation.Provided routine and recurring support to the CI and HUMINT Divisions & Installations. Conduct activities such as debriefing of personnel, coordination with installation Security Forces Personnel, support to OPSEC awareness programs, CI/security assessments, screening of locally employed persons (LEP screening).Initial handling of walk‐in sources, CI support to force protection, intelligence report writing/quality control, support to CI investigations. CI activities, and can support other operations within the scope of this SOW. As Insurance Underwriters are considered the “gatekeepers of profitability,” it was imperative to ensure new insurance business submissions were accurate and followed established industry-wide eligibility requirements. Advised Insurance Agents when new business submissions were not eligible. Worked with Agents to provide all necessary documentation to obtain new business and retain existing business. Ensured new business submitted by Agents was eligible for coverage.  Memorized and utilized volumes of eligibility requirements and binders of information consistently on all new business submissions. Was responsible to strictly adhere to a Consent Decree directive brought down from at-the-time Attorney General Janet Reno and the Department of Justice to ensure “red-lining” tactics were not followed by the Agents restricting the type of new business which was submitted for review. Accepted, rejected, retained and classified/priced eight different lines of Commercial Insurance policies including Businessowner’s Policy, Business Liability Insurance, Commercial Property Insurance, Commercial Umbrella Insurance, Commercial Inland Marine Policies, Commercial Auto, Agriculture Insurance and Workers’ Compensation. Responsible to review accounts for regulatory compliance. Specifically trained Insurance Agents in the field on eligibility and business retention guidelines. Conducted field visits in the state of Indiana (my territory) and helped Agents as needed.  Worked with new Agents in the Indianapolis, Indiana market to support Nationwide Insurance’s Urban Initiative to bolster urban accounts. Worked with and trained Insurance Claims Adjusters to follow Consent Decree guidelines.
