I joined Uisce Éireann (Irish Water) as a Commercial Solicitor in January 2017. I was promoted to Corporate and Commercial Lead Solicitor in 2021.From 2014 to 2016, I was Senior Corporate Counsel in Longitude Licensing Limited. Longitude is an IP licensing company and is the exclusive licensor to over 6500 issued patents and patent applications in the semiconductor area. As head of the legal function in Longitude, I am responsible for providing strategic legal advice in many corporate and IP related matters. I am also an active member of the Management Team and provide leadership, advice and support. Prior to joining Longitude, I was an Associate Solicitor in LK Shields Solicitors, a leading commercial law firm in Dublin where I spent 14 wonderful years.From 2004 to 2008, I was based in the Business Department of LK Shields Solicitors dealing with non-contentious IP matters including trade mark and design prosecution and management.
